Classic design, reimagined for today
A contemporary take on the first King Living sofa created in the seventies, the 1977 Sofa redefines the meaning of timeless design. Featuring a low profile and relaxed curves, the modular design can be reconfigured to suit any space.
The award-winning 1977 Sofa is designed, manufactured and retailed exclusively by King Living.

Relax. Rearrange. Repeat
The flexible modular design allows for endless personalisation. Move the chaise from left to right, reduce the number of seats or add extra modules to suit your style and comfort.
Experience supreme comfort
Gentle curves and contours instantly combine with five layers of
high-resilience foam and fibres for luxury seating. Customise with removable armrests for added support.

Machine washable covers
The ultimate in easy-care, tailored covers can be unzipped and removed for machine washing, ensuring your 1977 Sofa always looks fresh.
Style your way
Choose from a curated collection of premium fabrics to match your aesthetic. Mix and match the covers to create a colour block effect and swap covers for a new seasonal style.
Award winning design
Renowned for comfort, versatility, and quality, the 1977 Sofa won a prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2024 and Good Design Award in 2023 for its exceptional product design.
"We are honoured to be recognised for our top-tier product design. It's a great homage to the many years of design and engineering expertise we've incorporated into this creation." - David King, Founder
