King Living - Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions (United Kingdom)

King Living Gift Certificates (“Gift Certificates”) are issued by King Furniture UK Limited (Company Number 13503839).  Our registered office is at Capital Law Limited, Capital Building, Tyndall Street, Cardiff, Wales, CF10 4AZ.  Our registered VAT number is 390 5238 91. (“King”, “we”, “our” or “us” as the context may require).

We sell Gift Certificates at our complete discretion and we reserve the right to refuse a Gift Certificate redemption or use of a Gift Certificate by any person or entity at any time for any reason, to the fullest extent permitted by law. King reserves the right to update and change the terms and conditions of our Gift Certificates. This does not affect your legal rights. It is your responsibility to check these gift Certificate terms from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes which may have been made.

The redemption or use of a Gift Certificate means that you have read, accepted and are bound by these terms and conditions in addition to any conditions attached to or stated on the Gift Certificate itself:

1. Gift Certificates are valid for 36 months from the date of issue.
2. Gift Certificates are only redeemable at King Showrooms in the country in which the Gift Certificate was issued. Gift Certificate cannot be used for any online purchases. For a full list of King Showrooms, visit kingliving.co.uk
3. Gift Certificate are partially redeemable and can be used over multiple transactions whilst a balance remains on the Gift Certificate. Any remaining balance can be used for future purchases, until exhausted.
4. Balance enquiries can be made by contacting your nearest King Showroom. For a full list of King Showrooms, visit kingliving.co.uk Our general Terms and Conditions of Sale (available at kingliving.co.uk) apply to any purchases made with a gift certificate.
5. Gift Certificate redemption is not valid in conjunction with any other offer unless specified otherwise.
6. Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or credit. No VAT is charged when buying the Gift Certificate, but purchases paid for using the Gift Certificate are subject to VAT.
7. Keep your Gift Certificate safe. Gift Certificates cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. If you believe there is a mistaken transaction on your Gift Certificate please contact the King Showroom where the transaction was made.
8. If you have a query or complaint about a Gift Certificate, please raise it through any of our contact channels at kingliving.co.uk.
9. Except for rights which cannot by law be excluded, King excludes any conditions or warranties implied or imposed by legislation in relation to these terms and conditions. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to replacing faulty Gift Certificates.
10. We may cancel or withdraw any Gift Certificate for any reason at any time without notice. If so, we may either provide a refund or a replacement Gift Certificate of equivalent value unless we reasonably suspect fraud in relation to a Gift Certificate. If we suspect the Gift Certificate may have been stolen or fraudulently used then we will require an alternative form of payment and further action may also be taken.
11. The Gift Certificate remains the property of King, including all intellectual property rights inherent in the Gift Certificate. The resale of our Gift Certificates is strictly prohibited.
12. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties shall submit all disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in England and Wales.
13. Personal data relating to your purchase or use of the Gift Certificate will be used in accordance with current applicable data protection and privacy legislation and our Privacy Policy (available at kingliving.co.uk).
